Leading European clubs will participate in the Singapore Trophy 2023 friendly tournament from July 30, 2023, to August 2, 2023. The 2023 summer tourney will feature a host of big names including Liverpool, Leicester City, Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, As Roma… Liverpool will face off against Bayern Munich, and another match against Leicester City – the 2016 Premier League champions before officially kicking off the new season on August 12.
This marks Liverpool's second visit to Singapore in two years, following their victory over Crystal Palace FC to claim the Standard Chartered Singapore Cup last year at the National Stadium amidst the jubilation of over 50,000 fans. Liverpool holds a special place in the hearts of many Singaporean supporters, and undoubtedly, their return this time will be warmly embraced by Jürgen Klopp and his squad.
The Premier League 2015/2016 champions, Leicester City, are set to make their inaugural trip to Singapore, offering fans a splendid opportunity to connect with their heroes. An Exciting Opportunity for Vietnamese Fans
According to the organizers, the scheduled matches are as follows: Tottenham Hotspur FC and AS Roma will compete in the Tiger Cup framework in Singapore at 6:30 PM on July 26, 2023. On July 30, 2023, at 5:00 PM, Liverpool will kick off their tour with a match for the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy against Leicester City. Last year, Jurgen Klopp's team also claimed this title after defeating Crystal Palace. Then, on August 2, 2023, at 7:00 PM, Liverpool will face Bayern Munich as part of the Singapore Football Festival. The victorious team will receive the Singapore Cup, presented by Audi and Standard Chartered.
