Mũi Yến boasts a breathtaking location, leading a tourism company to plan and invest in developing it into a resort with top-notch amenities. As you approach, you'll encounter warning signs like 'No Trespassing' and 'Dangerous Area,' but curiously, there are no visible staff managing the tourist site. The reforestation and eco-tourism project by Mũi Yến Limited Company, spanning 117.89 hectares with a registered capital of 50 billion VND, currently only has trees planted within the project area, and the survival rate is disappointingly low. Additionally, there have been no further project developments. This explains why the project remains abandoned to this day.

After conquering a 3km stretch of sandy road, we finally reached Mũi Yến, where a protruding cape creates a magnificent panorama. The combination of sky, sea, and hills forms a stunning and captivating scenery at Mũi Yến, especially for first-time visitors. On the green grassy hills extending towards the sea, waves crash against the standing cliffs. Many swallows have chosen this place as their habitat and nesting site, giving rise to the name Mũi Yến (Swallow Cape).
An Unforgettable Experience
Visiting Mũi Yến, the first experience is standing on the highest hill, taking in the panoramic view. With about 4 to 5 capes and rocks jutting into the sea, it creates beautiful and enchanting formations. On the hilltop, swallows gracefully soar, the wind blows gently, and the expansive sea dwarfs the fishing boats below. This is a place where time seems to pause, allowing you to enjoy the scenery without any other concerns. Not far away stands a statue of Mother Quan Âm facing the sea. Some locals come here to pray for peace and well-being for their families and loved ones.

Camping at Mũi Yến is an experience not to be missed. In a place devoid of amenities like food, fresh water, electricity, or cell phone signals, you must rely on your survival skills. Before sunset, you need to set up your tent, gather firewood, and cook your own meals. The evening at Mũi Yến is tranquil, interrupted only by the occasional fishing boats with bright lights, making you jump. Here, it's just you, the wind, and the sound of the waves. Oh, and let's not forget the night sky full of stars on moonless nights at Mũi Yến. Just lie down, and you can pick a few shooting stars. I can't remember how many we counted that night; every now and then, someone in the group would shout with excitement at seeing a shooting star, breaking the serene silence.

'Waking up in a distant place' is truly fascinating. Waking up, you see the sea right in front of you. I ran to the farthest rocky point to witness the sunrise. The scenery changes rapidly from the horizon, with deep blue turning into pale pink, then shifting to red and the golden hues of the sun. The sun rises gradually from the sea, resembling a giant golden egg yolk, leaving us in awe of nature's mesmerizing beauty. Swallows leave their nests to search for food, and fishing boats slowly return with their nets. We sat on the hill, savoring instant noodles with self-cooked squid, finding them more delicious than any gourmet dish we've ever had.

The sea at Mũi Yến doesn't boast the crystal-clear blue waters found in many other places. With abundant rocks, the waves can get quite fierce during the windy season. Most people visit Mũi Yến not for a beach day but for fishing, collecting oysters, or simply finding a spot to soothe their souls. However, beach enthusiasts need not be disappointed, as just a short 200 meters walk leads to two small, adjacent beaches with soft sand and gentle waves. The morning is the best time to bask in the early sunlight. Note that there is no freshwater for rinsing; you'll have to bring your own.

Conclusion
For those who seek convenience, Mũi Yến may not be the ideal destination. But if you have a passion for immersing yourself in nature, enjoying spacious surroundings, and breathing in the fresh, pleasant air, then Mũi Yến is undoubtedly a place you must visit at least once in a lifetime. Explore and discover the unique beauty that Vietnam offers, capturing the most beautiful memories of youthful days.
