Kayak Expedition to Marvel at the Beauty of Tuyen Quang Hydroelectric Lake
During this period, tourists eagerly flock to Thượng Lâm port, Lâm Bình district, Tuyên Quang province, to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Tuyen Quang hydroelectric lake with kayaks, starting from Thủy port area to the Cọc Vài area.
The heart of the hydroelectric lake in Lâm Bình district spans over 4,000 hectares with renowned landscapes such as Khuổi Nhi waterfall, Khuổi Súng, and the Song Long cave.
Each kayak accommodates two passengers, allowing them to jointly appreciate the beautiful scenery on the Tuyen Quang hydroelectric lake surrounded by majestic mountains.
Mira, the young traveler from Hanoi, and her mother had an exhilarating experience kayaking, unable to hide their joy: “Mira absolutely loved kayaking with her mom. You won't find this boat in Hanoi,”
Chuc Thi Man, a resident of Thượng Lâm commune, shared that for the past 2–3 years, they have been welcoming visitors to explore the scenic Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir.
During the kayak adventure, the boat owner skillfully navigates behind, ensuring safety for the tourists, protecting them from rain, wind, or hidden underwater rocks. The rental price for a kayak is 70,000 VND for the first hour and gradually decreases for subsequent hours.
“We earn around 1.2 million VND per day with two trips. In April and May, the peak tourist season, each family can make between 30 to 40 million VND,” shared Chị Man.
