It's truly surprising that KDF was the team to end T1's undefeated streak, not other formidable contenders.
Even though the third week of LCK Summer 2022 hasn't concluded yet, we've witnessed the most significant surprise with KDF defeating T1 with a score of 2-1. This was something no one expected, given KDF's relatively unstable performance and their position in the bottom half of the standings. Before defeating T1, they had only secured one victory in two weeks of competition.

To discuss the most influential player in KDF's recent victory, Teddy's surprising Ashe performance cannot be overlooked. He even played as a Support, allowing Hoit's Seraphine to farm, yet still managed to create significant impacts. In a post-match interview, Teddy also shared that predicting T1's movements greatly assisted him in using Ashe effectively.
Q: Does facing former teammates help you utilize Ashe better?
KDF Teddy: To be honest, Keria's map reading ability is exceptional, particularly in lane swaps, especially to the Top Lane. He excels at supporting teammates across the map, so I anticipated that Keria and T1 would frequently swap to the Top Lane. When Keria and the T1 squad started to move, I used Enchanted Crystal Arrow aimed at the Top Lane. It hit Gangplank, and from there, we gradually gained control of the match.
In reality, I believe I need to utilize Ashe even more because this champion provides strong map control and initiates fights powerfully.

If you remember, before competing for KDF, Teddy spent three years wearing the SKT T1 jersey, later T1. During that time, Teddy partnered with Keria throughout 2021, so he understands T1's playstyle and team composition very well. Teddy capitalized on this knowledge effectively in catching T1's key players in the recent match with highly accurate Enchanted Crystal Arrows.

Of course, Teddy and KDF shouldn't celebrate too early because in this third week of competition, they still have to face another formidable opponent, Gen.G. This is a completely different opponent from T1, so KDF needs to truly exert effort to secure a victory to maintain hope for a position in the top half of the standings.
