In these scorching days in Central Vietnam, finding solace in Khe Hai, immersing oneself in the azure waters, savoring some local delicacies, travelers will feel incredibly relaxed.
Explore Khe Hai - a Natural and Rustic Beach in Quang Ngai

Khe Hai Beach is located in Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district (Quang Ngai), a few kilometers west of Dung Quat Port, adjacent to Rang Beach in Chu Lai area, Nui Thanh district (Quang Nam).
If you follow National Highway 1 from Chau O town, Binh Son district, heading north about 7km to the Doc Soi junction. From there, continue on the road toward Dung Quat Port for about 3km, then turn north for over 1.5km along the dirt road crossing lush green forests to reach the beach.
The beach is nestled deep in Dung Quat Bay, so the waves are relatively calm. Beyond 100 meters, the water reaches only chest-high, and the sea is quite clean, devoid of sudden whirlpools like some other beaches, making it safe for children to swim here.

Children often construct traps for mudskippers using bamboo and nylon strings placed near the burrows to catch them for grilling with lime leaves as a popular beach snack.

Eateries typically marinate peeled mudskippers in advance, waiting for customers to order, then promptly grill them over charcoal for nibbling.
Fragrant mudskipper meat marinated with spices and spicy chili not only appeals to drinking companions but also to women and children alike.
In addition to grilled mudskippers, many diners opt for mudskipper cooked with turmeric porridge to cool off.
After a swim in the sea and enjoying various delicacies, when satiated, it's also the time when night falls. Looking towards Dung Quat Port, the electric lights shimmering, people returning home by motorbike, carriages, and cars.
They travel against the dirt road, the rows of green trees rustling like invitations; if you have the chance, come back to Khe Hai...
