Khoa Pug announces it's hiring for various positions at its hot pot restaurant in the US. Among them, vegetable pickers are paid 17 USD/hour, equivalent to 400,000 VND/hour. Assuming an 8-hour workday, a vegetable picker at Khoa Pug's kitchen earns nearly 1.2 billion VND per year.
Khoa Pug has just announced the upcoming opening of Khoa Pug Hot Pot restaurant in Houston, Texas (USA), while recruiting 20 management, reception, service, vegetable picking, meat cutting, dishwashing, soup brewing, kitchen quality management, procurement personnel... with competitive salaries.
Tasks such as dishwashing or meat cutting are all done by machine, with competitive salaries. For example, a meat cutter at Khoa Pug is paid 20 USD/hour (equivalent to 474,000 VND/hour), while the average wage in the US is only 7.25 USD/hour, Khoa Pug stated in a recent recruitment video.
The vegetable picking position is paid 17 USD/hour, equivalent to 400,000 VND/hour. Assuming an 8-hour workday, a vegetable picker at Khoa Pug's kitchen earns about 96 million VND/month, and nearly 1.2 billion VND/year.
Khoa Pug specifies that they only accept legally resident personnel authorized to work in the US.
Khoa Pug's restaurant is currently in the final stages of completion, about 70% finished. Hot pot tables are arranged for 4 – 6 people and larger ones for 8 – 10 people, serving family groups. Khoa Pug reveals that both the table rims and hot pot rims are made of gold. According to the introduction, Khoa Pug Hot Pot tables belong to the highest luxury line, equipped with smoke and odor suction slots downwards.
After opening the restaurant in the US, Khoa Pug plans to open additional restaurants in Vietnam next year.
