TES's mid laner, Knight, is currently the most coveted name.
After a few days of silence, the LPL transfer market has heated up again with a slew of rumors and star names surfacing on the transfer map. Rumors abound regarding Doinb joining LNG Esports and Sina Weibo planning to form a Super Team immediately after taking over Suning...
Recently, another name has emerged and surprisingly become the most sought-after player in the current LPL landscape. That's none other than Knight - the mid laner competing in the colors of Top Esports. He has always been seen as the linchpin of the TES lineup, however, after the conclusion of the Summer 2021 split, he and his teammates were unable to qualify for Worlds 2021. They were even eliminated by LNG Esports in the second round of playoffs and lacked enough Championship Points to participate in the regional qualifiers.

With such lackluster achievements, since Summer 2021, many netizens in the LPL region have speculated that TES will undergo significant changes to prepare for the new season. And recently, international media reports: at least 5 LPL teams are in contact with Knight, and the salary that these teams are willing to pay for the player known as the 'Left Hand' by the Chinese community will make him the highest-paid player in LPL next year.

Clearly, all 5 teams eyeing Knight are undoubtedly top teams, boasting immensely strong financial capabilities. And 2 of these names have been revealed, potentially Weibo and Bilibili Gaming. Also from the LPL, some sources suggest that these 2 teams have been in contact with ShowMaker, Chovy, and Knight. But with recent considerations by SMK to stay in the LCK, and Chovy only leaving if Deft accompanies him, Knight seems to be the most feasible deal.

However, as mentioned, Weibo has not officially taken over SN yet, and everything remains at the level of rumors. However, if these rumors turn out to be true, Weibo/SN next season will be a formidable force, not only in the LPL but across the entire world of League of Legends.
