With its engaging gameplay, despite being for two players only, it required high levels of strategy and intellect. Crimesight was anticipated to make a significant impact in the global gaming industry.
Specifically, Crimesight's gameplay primarily revolves around the interaction between two opposing players. The opposing player must cleverly carry out tasks to erase traces and avoid detection. However, despite its captivating gameplay, it wasn't enough to ensure Crimesight's success.
Recently, Konami announced that this project will officially cease operations after 3 months, specifically on May 1, 2023. Consequently, Crimesight's lifespan barely reached a year. Despite its appealing gameplay, Crimesight failed to attract a sufficient audience to sustain its online activities. The highest player count at any given time was 572 in June.
