On October 16th in Seoul, South Korea, the tourist police force introduced themselves with uniforms designed in the style of the famous musician Psy, known for his 'Gangnam Style' dance.

This force consists of around 100 young male and female officers. They have just graduated from training courses to establish a tourist police force tasked with assisting tourists to avoid troubles during their stay and sightseeing in the capital of South Korea.
These police officers do not carry weapons and can speak English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Each officer wears a badge indicating which languages they are fluent in on the dark-colored uniform designed by the fashion designer for the star Psy in the 'Gangnam Style' song. This song was played at the launch event with a group of police officers performing the lively 'horse-riding' dance.
Lee Charm, the president of the Korean Tourism Organization, stated: 'The tourist police force was established not because our country is unsafe. You will be ambassadors to show how peaceful South Korea is. From now on, you will be very busy taking photos with tourists.'
