In his latest Medium industry note, Kuo stated that it will 'still account for 40-45% of total shipments in the first half of 2024.' This will be 'crucial' for Taiwan-based camera lens supplier Largan in the first half of this year.

Apart from being the largest 6.7-inch flagship model, the Max also boasts a promising 5x optical zoom or a 'periscope lens' that you won't find on other iPhone models. According to Kuo, the 'periscope lens' alone in the Pro Max model is expected to boost Largan's first-half revenue to $121.6 million.
Kuo has repeatedly expressed hope that the periscope lens technology will expand to both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max by the end of this year, allowing for at least 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a larger 6.3-inch screen compared to the iPhone 15 Pro's 6.1 inches. This change will increase the overall device size, providing more space inside for the quad-camera array.
According to The Elec's report, Apple will add LG Innotek as a supplier of folding zoom modules to ensure no hiccups in the launch of the next series of iPhones. Let's wait and see!
