According to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP and Decree 123/2021/ND-CP amending Decree 100, the penalties for improper U-turns for various vehicle types are as follows:

- Moreover, under Point d Clause 4 Article 6 Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, the penalty for motorcyclists making a U-turn in a road tunnel ranges from 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND.
=> Therefore, you are not allowed to make a U-turn in the road tunnel, even if there are few vehicles inside. Violating this rule may result in a fine ranging from 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND as stipulated above.
4.2. Can you perform a U-turn when encountering a no turn sign?

- Signs have no authority to prohibit U-turns.
