Regulations for Entry into Thailand
For the most convenient entry into Thailand, please note the following information:
For fully vaccinated passengers: Starting from July 1, 2022, passengers are allowed to enter Thailand normally without the need to register for Thailand Pass or purchase medical insurance.
- Passengers need to present a valid vaccination certificate as per regulations (vaccination certificate with stamp or PC-COVID application, Electronic Health Certificate). Passengers are not required to undergo COVID-19 testing before and after arriving in Thailand.
For passengers who are not vaccinated:
- A negative rapid antigen test result (self-test results are not accepted) or RT-PCR test within 72 hours before departure is required.
- For unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children:
- Children under 18 years old traveling with fully vaccinated parents or guardians: will be automatically granted entry similar to their accompanying parents or guardians.
- Children aged 6-17 traveling with unvaccinated or partially vaccinated parents: Must present a negative antigen rapid test result (self-test results are not accepted) or negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before departure.
- Children under 6 years old: are exempt from testing requirements even when traveling with unvaccinated or partially vaccinated parents.

Starting from 01/10/2022, travelers entering Thailand can do so as usual, without the need to present vaccination certificates.

Entry Protocol for Singapore
Upon entry to Singapore, visitors must note:
For passengers who have completed their vaccination:
- Complete the SG Arrival Card within 72 hours before departure.
For passengers who have not received the vaccine:
- Approval for entry must be obtained from the Singapore Government. Prepare RT-PCR test results or rapid antigen test results within 48 hours before departure. Home quarantine is required for 7 days with a minimum travel insurance coverage of 30,000 SGD.
* Important Note: Individuals who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine are exempt from pre-departure COVID-19 testing:
- Children aged 12 and under (based on the Gregorian calendar)

Regulations for entering South Korea
South Korea Entry Regulations
Effective June 1, 2022, South Korea has resumed issuing tourist visas. Travelers from Vietnam must adhere to the following entry requirements:
Complete health declaration and itinerary submission at https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr within 48 hours prior to departure.
- Fully vaccinated passengers shall be exempt from quarantine upon completion of this declaration and presentation of QR code upon entry.
- Passengers who are not vaccinated or do not possess a health declaration QR code shall be compulsorily quarantined for 7 days upon entry into South Korea (all quarantine expenses are to be borne by the passengers).
- All tourists must submit a NEGATIVE COVID-19 test result in English or Korean before departure. Accepted results include a PCR test within 48 hours prior to the flight or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours before the flight (self-tests are NOT accepted).
- Exempted from testing:
- Children under 6 years old at the time of entry (only if accompanying adults have submitted valid negative test results)
- Individuals with a certificate of exemption from quarantine.

Important Announcement:
In a recent development, the South Korean government has decided to eliminate all COVID-19-related paperwork for incoming travelers. Now, passengers only need to fill out information on the Q-CODE electronic declaration system, including email, passport details, entry and stay information in South Korea, and health status (no need for vaccination certificates or testing).
Effective from October 1st, 2022,
Travelers arriving in South Korea are now exempt from undergoing Covid-19 testing within 24 hours of arrival.
Therefore, starting from October 1, 2022, to go through the South Korean immigration process, tourists only need to prepare the following documents before entry:
- PCR COVID-19 testing valid within 48 hours
- Rapid antigen testing (RAT) valid 24 hours prior to entry
Note: Travelers must present these documents when filling out the Q-CODE declaration.
Starting from July 25th, 2022,
Travelers entering South Korea from July 25th, 2022 onward must undergo a PCR test within 01 day of entry.
As of July 25th, 2022, the entry procedure for South Korea includes:
- Before entry: Prepare a Covid test certificate using one of two methods:
- Passengers must undergo COVID-19 testing using PCR gene amplification within 48 hours.
Passengers must also undergo rapid antigen testing (RAT) valid for 24 hours before entry.
Following entry, passengers must undergo PCR testing within 01 day.
To avail of free testing at local health facilities, passengers must present quarantine certificates or flight tickets. Passengers must stay home until PCR test results are obtained. Positive cases will undergo 7-day isolation.
Effective from June 8th, 2022 onward
Starting June 8th, individuals arriving from South Korea, regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status, are exempted from a 7-day quarantine period. Henceforth, those entering from South Korea must:

- A PCR COVID-19 test valid within 48 hours
- A rapid antigen test (RAT) valid 24 hours prior to entry
Regulations for entering Japan
Travelers need to be aware of the following regulations to enter Japan smoothly in the upcoming period:
- Passengers are required to fill out a commitment form and complete the “Quarantine Inspection Questionnaire” at https://arqs-qa.followup.mhlw.go.jp/ to receive a QR code. Passengers will need to present the QR code when undergoing immigration procedures.
- It is necessary to provide a PCR test certificate in English within 72 hours prior to departure.
Passengers will undergo Covid-19 testing at the airport before departure.
Regarding quarantine regulations:
- For those who have received booster vaccines: No quarantine required.
UPDATE: Quarantine guidelines have been revised.
- Effective September 7, 2022, travelers entering Japan are not required to present a negative test result within 72 hours if they possess valid proof of receiving a full course of 3 doses of approved vaccines.
Vietnamese citizens entering Japan are exempt from quarantine requirements.
Regulations for entering Taiwan
Vietnamese citizens may be eligible for a 14-day visa waiver to enter Taiwan under certain conditions.
- Currently possess valid visas for South Korea, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the EU Schengen area (including both long-term and permanent residency permits) that expire within the next 10 years.

German Entry Regulations
Prepare yourself to touch the land of Germany, and make sure not to overlook the current entry regulations of this country:
- For passengers who have been vaccinated, a vaccination certificate is required, indicating vaccination status with the last dose administered at least 14 days prior to departure. The vaccine used must be one of those listed on the website of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut and administered according to the prescribed dosage.
