Recently, some render images of the MacBook Air laptop with the M2 chip from Apple have been revealed. These images are based on Apple's CAD drawings, and the notable point is that this laptop will no longer feature a notch display design.
Based on leaked renders, the Apple MacBook Air appears to be an ultra-thin and lightweight laptop with extremely slim edges and bezels.
Rumors suggest that the 2022 MacBook Air M2 will utilize Apple Silicon's M2 chip, featuring a design similar to the MacBook Pro 14-inch and MacBook Pro 16-inch. However, with the latest images, the MacBook Air M2 2022 seems to ditch the notch display.

These new images provided by LeaksApplePro seem accurate as they are based on leaked CAD drawings from Apple. Equipped with the latest Apple M2 chip, enhancing the machine's processing power and robust performance, this will be the highlight of this series.
Additionally, the 2022 MacBook Air M2 will feature a MagSafe charging port and 2 connection ports. On the left side of the machine, there will be 1 Thunderbolt port along with a headphone jack, while on the right side, there will be another Thunderbolt port.

However, with this latest render image, the notch display is no longer present.
This results in a more aesthetically pleasing screen, albeit with slightly thicker bezels around the screen. However, the screen real estate will be wider without the notch.
Currently, there is still no precise information regarding the release date of this machine. According to rumors, the MacBook Air M2 2022 is set to be released in March next year, but many other experts believe the machine will debut in the third quarter or the latter half of 2022.
