(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - APL 2022, the international tournament of Liên Quân Mobile, will be held offline in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in November this year.
Arena of Valor Premier League 2022 (APL 2022) is the largest Esports tournament of Liên Quân Mobile. With the cancellation of AWC 2022, APL 2022 will serve as the replacement tournament featuring 12 teams from 4 top regions including Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Especially, APL 2022 will be the first tournament to return to offline format after 3 years of online competitions. APL 2022 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) on November 16.
APL 2022 Group Stage: Vietnam will have 4 groups consisting of the top 3 teams from 4 domestic tournaments – Arena of Glory (AOG – Vietnam), AOV Star League (ASL – Indonesia), Garena Challenger Series (GCS – Taiwan), and ROV Pro League (RPL – Thailand) forming 4 separate groups.
Representatives from Arena of Glory (AOG – Vietnam) will face formidable international opponents. BOX Gaming in Group A will confront Bikertopia Esports – the champions of GCS Summer 2022 and the reigning champions of AWC 2021 – KFC x Talon. Meanwhile, Saigon Phantom in Group B will once again meet their old rivals MAD Team. In Group C, V Gaming will have a rematch with the team they faced in AIC 2021 – Buriram United Esports.
It is known that APL 2022 offers a total prize pool of $1,000,000, with the champion team receiving $400,000 and the runner-up earning $200,000. The substantial prize money makes APL 2022 even more enticing for both participating teams and viewers.
