- Our office is located at Suite G04, Ground Floor, Maritime Building, No. 1 Dao Duy Anh Street, Phuong Mai Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi.
For applicants under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must be present when providing biometric data.
Exemptions from providing biometric data include government officials and high-ranking officials of international intergovernmental organizations traveling to Australia on official representation; Heads of State, Heads of Government, and accompanying family members; Current Government Ministers and accompanying family members on official travel; Diplomatic and Consular personnel on official duty in Australia and accompanying dependents; Diplomatic Couriers; Special Purpose Visa holders, and applicants for APEC Business Travel Cards.

How Long Does it Take to Process an Australian Tourist Visa?

Processing time for an Australian tourist visa from application to receipt typically takes around 30 days. The visa is valid for 1 year, allowing a maximum stay of 3 months. Therefore, it's advisable to apply for the visa 2 to 3 months in advance of your travel.
Based on experience with Australian visas, meticulous preparation of documents increases the likelihood of approval. Failing to secure a visa on the first attempt can make subsequent applications significantly more challenging. While the Australian Embassy does not retain passports, applicants must present theirs for biometric data collection. Those applying for visitor visas may need to undergo a medical examination at designated centers, with associated fees covered by the applicant.
Upon receiving approval, applicants are issued an electronic visa document, which can be printed and presented at immigration upon arrival. Australian Customs will verify passport details using their system.
