According to the latest leaks, the successor to MIX Fold 2 will be codenamed “Babylon” with model number 2308CPXD0C (short model number: L18). The “2308” suggests it's planned to launch in August. Sources even claim the device might debut on August 11. The device's MIUI firmware indicates Xiaomi's next foldable smartphone will be exclusive to China.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch OLED Full-HD+ 120Hz external display and an 8.02-inch OLED Full-HD+ 120Hz internal folding display. Both will sport hole-punch designs. The device is expected to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The top-tier variant is speculated to offer 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
One of the most exciting features of Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is its 4 Leica camera system, rumored to include a 50-megapixel main sensor IMX989, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera IMX858, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens. This camera system is expected to deliver superior photography capabilities.
In terms of charging capability, MIX Fold 3 is said to come with 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It's also rumored to have an IP rating, providing additional protection against water damage.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to come pre-installed with the MIUI 14 user interface based on Android 13 operating system. Additionally, it's rumored to be thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, measuring 11.2mm thick (when folded) and weighing 262 grams.
