Leaked information suggests Genshin Impact fell short at a major awards ceremony, with shockingly disappointing results.

Another year is about to end, and The Game Awards - one of the most renowned gaming awards ceremonies - has officially returned. This year, the nominations for the awards have become much more diverse, and Genshin Impact is also a potential contender. Last year, the game excelled in winning the Players' Voice category with overwhelming community votes. However, this year, the same scenario did not repeat as players had hoped.

For those unfamiliar, Player’s Voice is the most special category at The Game Awards, entirely voted on by players, where games with larger and stronger communities have more opportunities to rise. Last year, Genshin Impact surpassed formidable rivals like Sonic Frontiers, Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, Stray... This year, the nominations for Player’s Voice have been much more lenient, but miHoYo's darling is facing disappointingly poor results.

It's known that Player’s Voice 2023 will consist of 3 separate rounds. In the first round, gamers need to vote for the top 10 outstanding games out of a total of 30 nominated games.
