If you're a frequent user of Microsoft's Calendar app integrated into Windows 10, this is good news for you. According to Aggiornamenti Lumia, the app is undergoing a redesign. Furthermore, you can experience it early by enabling the app's preview mode.
The Fresh Look of the Windows 10 Calendar App
At the top of the app, you'll notice an open space for you to enjoy new landscapes. Currently, this is the only scenery, but reports suggest more images will appear. On the left side of the app, a new 'hamburger' menu has also surfaced, resembling the current menu but with additional Outlook and Exchange icons below.
There will be a new window for creating events, instead of it taking up the entire app window. Reports indicate that the settings section is also undergoing renovations, from layout to features, although they don't delve into specific details or reveal any images.
The release date for the new app is still unknown, but you can get a preview of it in the Windows 10 Insider Preview. At some point, you'll be able to enable the preview mode within the Calendar app.
While we await Microsoft's official unveiling of the new design for the Calendar app on Windows 10, Google is also updating its interface. Specifically, Google introduces dark mode for Google Play Store on Android 10, promising to be a favorite among users.
