Leaked render images and detailed specifications of the upcoming OPPO A79 5G

This phone has recently obtained certifications from TUV Rheinland, IMDA, NBTC, and FCC, revealing its model number and dimensions. Today, a leaker named Appuals has unexpectedly shared with us render images along with the technical specifications of the OPPO A79 5G.

Leaks reveal that the upcoming OPPO A79 5G will sport a 6.72-inch display, adopting a punch-hole design for the selfie camera, Full-HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 680 nits, screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%, and contrast ratio of 1400:1. Internally, the device will be powered by the Dimensity 6020 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, support for virtual RAM, and a microSD card slot.

In terms of software, the phone will come pre-installed with ColorOS 13.2 user interface based on Android 13 out of the box. The rear of the OPPO A79 5G will feature a dual-camera setup, including a high-quality 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 2MP portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Other key features that the A79 5G will offer include an 8MP front camera, dual stereo speakers, a 5,000mAh battery with SUPERVOOC 33W fast charging support. The device measures 7.99mm thick, weighs 193 grams, and comes in Glowing Green and Mystery Black colors.
