OnePlus has confirmed they will debut their first foldable smartphone in the third quarter of this year, potentially in August.
OnePlus V FoldThe OnePlus V Fold is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate on the outer screen. Additionally, it features a folding display utilizing a 7.8-inch AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Leaked renders indicate the phone will have a tall form factor and relatively slim bezels surrounding the display.
Regarding its photography capabilities, the OnePlus V Fold boasts a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 48MP primary sensor, another 48MP camera for ultra-wide shots, and a 64MP telephoto camera. On the front, the phone houses a 32MP sensor on the secondary screen and another 20MP selfie camera on the main display.
Inside, the OnePlus V Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, accompanied by 16GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 4,800 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. On the software side, it is expected to come pre-installed with the OxygenOS 13.1 user interface based on Android 13 upon release.
