1. Checking Battery Life through Activity Monitor
Apart from knowing how much battery life is left, Activity Monitor also helps you monitor the activity status of your device such as CPU, RAM, or various connections. To check the battery life on your MacBook using Activity Monitor, follow these steps:
Step 1: First, go to Finder > Applications > Utilities.
Step 2: Next, select Activity Monitor.
Step 3: Click on the Energy section, where you can check the remaining usage time of the battery under Time remaining.
2. Checking via Terminal
Step 1: First, open Finder > Applications > Utility > Terminal.
Step 2: Then enter the command line pmset -g batt.
Step 3: Press Enter to execute the command line and view the battery life as shown below.
