Unlike other platforms, Facebook Messenger preserves all your old messages unless you actively delete them. Many are curious about the number of messages they've exchanged with others and the total count of messages in a conversation. In this guide, we'll show you how to count and analyze Facebook messages.
Important Notes:
- Facebook Messenger's full features are currently available only on the Facebook Web PC interface. Therefore, to view message counts, you'll need a computer with internet access.
- We recommend using browsers like Google Chrome, Coc Coc, Edge, or other platforms based on Chromium.
- Facebook Messenger on mobile does not support message count analysis at this time.
- To analyze message counts, your Facebook Messenger account must have complete information (Email, Phone Number) to avoid potential security checkpoints.
- Deleted conversations cannot be accurately counted. However, hidden conversations can still be analyzed.
- Message counts are updated in real-time. You can press F5 (refresh) to check for updates.
