Currently, Garena Free Fire offers three maps for players to choose from: Military Island, Paradise Island, and Desert Island. Recently, Garena announced the remade version of Military Island named Military Island 2.0. The new map will appear on servers on January 1st, 2020. However, gamers can start downloading it now.

How to Download the New Military Island 2.0 Map in Garena Free Fire
Step 1: Launch the Free Fire game on your Android, iOS device, or emulator => click on Download Center via the cloud icon at the top of the screen.
Step 2: You'll see the expansion packs you've downloaded and haven't downloaded yet. Here, click the Download icon next to the Military Island 2.0 map to start the download process.
- Note: The download process may be interrupted when you enter a match. For a better experience, it's recommended to complete the download of the expansion pack.
As mentioned earlier, players can access and engage in battles on the Military Island 2.0 map in Free Fire starting from January 1st, 2020. Please note that the map is 85.81 MB in size, so make sure you have enough storage space on your device before downloading to avoid errors.
Is the New Military Island 2.0 Map in Free Fire Remade?
The new Military Island 2.0 map first appeared in Free Fire in August 2020, released for the Clash Squad mode as part of Free Fire's 3rd anniversary celebration. Of course, it also appeared on the Advance Server test server beforehand. The new Military Island 2.0 map features enhanced detailed colors, a new design, and changes to the classic map.
