You frequently use your Xiaomi phone to capture photos to save various information, memories, etc. Perhaps during the process, you have captured multiple similar photos. How to delete duplicate photos on Xiaomi phones
Step 1: Identifying and deleting duplicate photos on Xiaomi phones doesn't require you to strain your eyes or download any additional apps. The Gallery app on your phone already has a feature that automatically identifies duplicate photos for you. Simply open the Gallery app > tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner > then tap Free up space
Step 2: Wait a moment for your phone to scan and calculate the storage usage of photo categories in the Gallery. After scanning, it will provide results for you as shown below. Duplicate photo categories will be listed below, scroll down and find them. You can tap on View details to see duplicate photos on your device.
Step 3: You can easily see all duplicate photos. To delete them more quickly, you can toggle the Keep the best photo switch to retain the best photo among duplicates or check and select individual photos. Finally, click on Delete selected photos, then a confirmation message will appear, click Delete to confirm deletion.
