Step 1: Log in to your personal Facebook account, click on the downward arrow icon at the top left corner, and select Settings as shown below.
Step 2: In the Settings interface, click on the Timeline and Tagging section and hit Edit under Who can post on your Timeline?.
Step 3: Instead of leaving it as Friends, change it to Only me to lock down your Facebook Timeline and block everyone from posting on it.
Step 4: Once you've configured your preferences, click on Close to complete the process of locking your Facebook Timeline.
Now, you can ask your friends to check or use another Facebook account. If successful, your friends won't see a posting box when they visit your Timeline.
