2. Turn off red underline in Word 2016, 2013
Step 1: To remove red underline in Word 2016 and 2013, simply go to the File tab on the menu bar.
Step 2: Next, choose Options to access Word Options.
Step 3: In Word Options, simply choose the Proofing section, then scroll down to find Check spelling as you type and uncheck it.
After that, when you return, you will see that you have completely removed the red underline in Word 2016, 2013.
3. How to remove red underline in Word 2010, 2007
Step 1: Similar to removing red underline in Word 2016, 2013, in Word 2010, 2007, you still go to the File tab on the menu bar.
Step 2: Then you go to Options to access Word Options.
Step 3: In Word Options, find the line Check spelling as you type and uncheck it. This line can be found in the Proofing section.

4. How to remove red underline in Word 2003
In Word 2003, removing the red underline in Word is slightly different but still very simple with a few steps as follows.
