Step 1: Open the Disk Utility application on your Mac.

Step 2: Next, navigate to File > New Image > Image from Folder.

Step 3: Click on the folder you want to set a password for > Select Choose.

Step 4: Here, you'll choose the encryption level for the folder. I'll opt for 128-bit AES encryption.

Step 5: Now, you'll set a password for the folder.

Step 6: Next, select read/write and click Save. So, you just need to click done to complete the setup process.
