Ingredients for making crispy pho for 4 people:
- 1kg flat rice noodles
- 500g beef sirloin
- 40g carrots
- 200g onions
- 1 bunch of sweet cabbage
- 1 bulb of garlic
- Seasonings: cooking oil, salt, MSG, oyster sauce, …
How to make crispy pho stir-fried with beef:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

- Clean the beef and slice it thinly.
- Marinate the beef with 2 teaspoons of salt and a bit of cooking oil.
- Clean the sweet cabbage, let it drain, and then cut it in half.
- Peel the garlic and crush it.
Step 2: Proceed
- Take the rice noodle sheet from the pho package, with a thickness of about 1cm. Use scissors to cut the rice noodle sheet into square pieces with 3cm edges.

- Take a deep pot or pan, fill it with about 4 - 5cm of oil, wait until the oil is hot, then fry each piece of cut rice noodle until it puffs up on both sides. Once the rice noodle turns golden, quickly remove it.

- Place the pan on medium heat, quickly sauté the crushed garlic until it becomes fragrant. When the aroma emerges, add the sliced beef and stir-fry until the beef is no longer pink. Transfer to a bowl (avoid overcooking to maintain tenderness).

- Add the cabbage to the pan, season with salt, pour the reserved beef broth, and stir-fry until the cabbage is soft. Transfer to a bowl.

- Add carrots to the pan, sauté for about 2 minutes, then add onions, and a bit of oyster sauce. Stir quickly over high heat. When the onions and carrots are cooked, transfer to the bowl with the stir-fried beef.

- Arrange the crispy pho on a plate, pour the stir-fried beef and vegetables on top, and invite everyone to enjoy.

The crispy pho is crunchy, hollow inside, blending the sweetness of beef, and the refreshing taste of cabbage, making family meals even more enticing.
Notes when making crispy pho:
- Be careful not to use a knife to cut the rice noodle; using a knife may cause the edges to split and become fragile. - Pay attention to the order of stir-frying the vegetables; the ones that take longer to cook should be stir-fried first for even cooking.
