Your stories on Facebook only last for 24 hours on your profile, and after that, they disappear. If you don't quickly download them, you won't be able to access them in your feed anymore. However, I've recently found a method for you to download expired stories. Let's check out how to download stories that are over 24 hours old on Facebook using your phone.
How to Download Stories Expired on Facebook After 24 Hours
Step 1: To download stories that have exceeded 24 hours, you can't do it directly from your feed. However, when a story expires, it is still stored in the archive. So, you can download expired stories through this archive.
To access and download your stories, click on the Menu Tab on your Facebook. Then, go to your profile. Once successfully on your profile, select the three-dot icon next to the Edit Profile option to proceed.

Step 2: Next, you'll access the Personal Page Settings; here, click on the Storage. To view stories older than 24 hours, click on the Story Storage option.

Step 3: You'll see all the posts you've made during your usage. If you want to download any, click on the post, then select the three horizontal dots at the top right of the screen. A menu of options will appear below. The last thing you need to do is choose Save video.

With this tip, I wish you all the best experience when using this application. If you have any questions or difficulties, let me know in the comments below. Don't forget to share the article if you find it useful. Thank you for reading.
