General Information about the 10-Year-Old Leica Dlux 5 Titanium:
Leica D-Lux 5 Titanium: Award-Winning Camera of 2012

Things I Like
Instead of the introduction above, let's dive straight into what the D-Lux excels at, shall we? ^^.Firstly, its enduring beauty stands out even after more than a decade since its release. The minimalist design philosophy of Leica has consistently succeeded over many decades, and this compact gem, with its stunning Titanium body, still shines amidst modern cameras, reminiscent of the adoration for the Leica M6 Titan. The spacious 3-inch display (quite a surprise), metal buttons, and seamless 32GB card compatibility add to its charm.Skipping the technical specifications, given its age, but worth mentioning is the Leica DC-Vario Summicron 24-90mm f2-3.3 lens. Exceptional quality and performance justified its whopping price tag of 30.7 million Vietnamese Dong upon release in Vietnam.

Things I Dislike
Of course, there are plenty of downsides. But let me highlight the most prominent ones: The small sensor, barely on par with some smartphones today. With such an excellent lens, having a 1-inch or Crop ff sensor would have been phenomenal. This is a crucial downside that influences the decision to bring this camera home. Slow focusing, non-touch screen, and low resolution. All limitations due to technological constraints. And finally, the price: nearly 10 million for a piece of titanium with a red logo to capture 'interesting' photos.
To Buy or Not to Buy?
Beauty, uniqueness, nostalgia, the Leica logo, portability for wandering around Saigon—these are the driving factors that led me to bring her home. Oh, and I forgot to mention, she comes with a stylish leather case for you to carry along. P/s: Suddenly felt inspired to write, so forgive any errors in my first attempt at writing. Cheers, everyone!
