Leica has recently announced the versatile Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70mm F2.8 ASPH lens designed for full-frame L-mount cameras. This lens features 19 elements in 15 groups, including 3 aspherical elements. It's an autofocus lens with a manufacturer-stated whisper-quiet focusing motor, and some notable specifications include:
