This system, named Mechanical Energy Harvesting, combines mechanical movement and solar radiation to maintain the functionality of these accessories.

Lenovo's concept keyboard includes a thin solar panel for more efficient battery charging. It also features a unique circular Fidget button, which, when rotated for approximately 5 minutes, generates enough energy for about 30 minutes of input. This feature acts as a convenient alternative energy source when the keyboard cannot access solar energy.

Similarly, the mouse in this product set is equipped with an interesting feature: a crank handle. By simply extending and winding this crank handle for just 1 minute, it can provide up to 30 minutes of battery life with regular use.
