It seems the ThinkPad X1 Fold laptop and Lenovo's rollable phone haven't made enough impact, so the company recently released a video introducing a new rollable screen laptop. According to Notebookcheck, the screen will expand to 16 inches.
Rollable and foldable screens are perhaps the current trends in screen design. This is evident as current technology allows for flexible screen materials. Rollable screens excel over foldable ones in that they don't have creases.
Lenovo is one of the firms keen on the rollable and foldable concept, having recently introduced a uniquely designed rollable phone and now, the ThinkPad rollable screen laptop, showcased at Lenovo Tech World 2022.
Lenovo's Smart Devices Group Chairman, Luca Rossi, states that innovative form factor is the company's competitive strategy, emphasizing the allure of a rollable laptop.
