Lenovo Unveils Legion 9i at IFA 2023: Mini-LED Display, RTX 4090, Liquid Cooling, Priced Over 117 Million Dong

Lenovo Legion 9i boasts powerful hardware, but its most impressive aspect is its Mini-LED premium panel, measuring 16 inches, supporting 3.2K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and outstanding color accuracy with 100% Adobe and DCI-P3 coverage.

The Legion 9i display can achieve a remarkable brightness of 1,200 nits and holds certifications like VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and Dolby Vision support. NVIDIA G-SYNC certification ensures tear-free gaming, and TUV Rheinland certification enhances the product's display quality.

Internally, Lenovo's new premium gaming laptop is equipped with the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, paired with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. Additionally, it features an AI LA2 chip for performance enhancement. Memory options include 64GB DDR5 dual-channel 5600Mhz RAM or 32GB DDR5 dual-channel 6400Mhz RAM, and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

To address overheating issues on the Legion 9i, Lenovo has equipped this laptop with an enhanced integrated liquid cooling system named Legion Coldfront. Developed in collaboration with Cooler Master, this system enables the laptop to deliver a robust 230W TDP while still maintaining a slim design weighing only 2.56kg. It focuses on cooling the GPU VRAM, operating when the GPU reaches 84°C to keep it cool even during extended heavy gaming sessions.

In addition to the liquid cooling system, Lenovo Legion 9i is also equipped with an AI-adjusted three-fan air cooling system, combined with an impressive 6,333 individual ventilation holes. This combination ensures that the Legion 9i remains cool even during intense gaming sessions and 4K video editing.

This laptop features a large 99.99WHr battery supporting Super Rapid Charge, reaching 70% charge from 0 in just 30 minutes and fully charging in 80 minutes. It comes with either a slim 330W charging adapter or a 140W USB Type-C adapter. It has a 1.5mm key travel for comfortable typing, Legion Spectrum Per-Key RGB backlighting, 100% anti-ghosting feature, and interchangeable ceramic keycaps for customization. It has a 1080p webcam with E-Shutter for privacy protection.

In terms of connectivity, Lenovo Legion 9i offers Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and RJ45 ports for flexible connectivity options. Audio is handled by 2 x 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio. It provides reliable wireless connectivity with 2 x 2 Intel Wi-Fi 7 (802.11 ax) and Bluetooth 5.1.
