Lenovo has just introduced the new generation ThinkBook 14 and 15 equipped with Intel Core Gen 10 chips and numerous upgrades tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises.

At the Lenovo Tech Life event at IFA 2019, Lenovo announced two new ThinkBook 14 and 15 laptops aimed at small and medium-sized business (SMB) users. As the latest addition to the ThinkBook series unveiled at the Lenovo Accelerate event in May this year, these new devices are designed to deliver powerful performance and robust connectivity. Additionally, Lenovo has upgraded the ThinkBook 13s and 14s with Intel® Core™ Gen 10 processors.

In terms of operational performance, the ThinkBook laptops powered by Intel® Core™ Gen 10 processors offer outstanding performance, with customizable performance based on tasks using AI technology. PCIe SSD storage along with high-speed DDR4 RAM provides ample capacity to handle even the most demanding workloads, with performance further enhanced by Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 with Solid State Storage. Additionally, ThinkBook laptops provide users with an ultra-fast internet connection with Gigabit speeds for both wired (RJ45) and Intel® Wi-Fi 6 wireless connections (optional). Another notable feature of ThinkBook is its convenient security features. Specifically, users are supported with one-touch unlock and system startup with the integrated fingerprint reader on the Smart Power Button; ensuring webcam privacy with the ThinkShutter camera cover.

In addition, ThinkBook laptops also safeguard users' wireless mouse from loss or theft thanks to the concealed USB port within the device; enabling immediate response or termination of Skype for Business calls with a hotkey; charging or connecting any USB-C device with a fully functional USB-C Gen2 port, eliminating the need to carry a separate charger. Eric Yu, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Lenovo SMB, stated: “ThinkBook is not just a new laptop line. We designed ThinkBook specifically for the new workforce, including Millennials and Gen Z, with features and design that make the machine easy to use and responsive to every task like a smartphone. Moreover, ThinkBook ensures strong performance and enterprise-grade security capabilities, freeing up the IT administration team of small and medium-sized businesses from managing complex devices.” Lenovo representatives also added that the two new ThinkBook laptop models will be available in the market from November 2019 with starting prices of around $749 and $738 respectively. Also debuting in November 2019, the ThinkBook 13s IML laptop will have a starting price of $729; while the starting price of the ThinkBook 14s IML laptop will be $749.
