So after a period of anticipation, Apple brings forth the biggest event of 2021 and unveils a plethora of new flagship products, including the iPhone 13 smartphone series, larger-screen Apple Watch, and new iPad. But if you missed out on that grand unveiling, fret not, as I'll now update you on the 8 most outstanding highlights of Apple's iPhone 13 launch event.
1. Welcome the new generation iPhone with a smaller Notch

Apple's new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini still sport the familiar design reminiscent of the iPhone 12, but the notch is now smaller, and the camera system is designed to be diagonal.
Both of these new models are equipped with the new A15 Bionic chip and feature an improved dual-camera system on the rear. Apple also promises longer battery life on the iPhone 13 compared to the iPhone 12.
2. Finally, iPhone 13 Pro features a 120 Hz refresh rate display

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max boast a design similar to their predecessors in the iPhone 12 Series, with stainless steel frames around the edges and a luxurious frosted glass back.
But the major upgrade here lies in the display: they support Apple's adaptive ProMotion refresh rate technology, reaching a peak of 120 Hz. They also feature a new camera system and the A15 Bionic chip. Like the iPhone 13, Apple also promises improved battery life over the iPhone 12 series.
3. Cinematic mode for enhanced video and image display
Cinematic mode for videos on the iPhone 13 recreates the commonly seen focusing effects in movies. The phone smoothly transitions between foreground and background focus based on what's happening in the frame.

On the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Cinematic mode is even more powerful, as depth maps are integrated into the video file, allowing for easier focus point adjustments.
4. Apple Watch Series 7 features a new design and larger screen
Apple Watch Series 7 comes in two larger screen sizes, 41 mm and 45 mm, with a slightly refined design.

Some elements of the user interface have been updated to better accommodate the larger screen, including displaying a full keyboard.
The new product starts at $399, but you still can't buy it yet. Apple says it will be available later this fall.
5. Health app Fitness Plus
Apple has announced some updates to their fitness app called Fitness Plus, their workout service. Apple will be adding Pilates exercises, guided meditation, and sports-inspired workouts to the service later this month.

Group workouts, scheduled for later this fall, will allow you to exercise with your friends. And the service is expanding to more countries, also later this fall.
6. New iPad Mini features a larger screen and refreshed design
Apple's new iPad Mini has a completely redesigned look similar to the 2020 iPad Air. The new Mini features an 8.3-inch screen, Touch ID sensor on the power button, USB-C port, super wide 12 MP front camera supporting Apple's Center Stage technology, and 5G connectivity option.

It also supports the second-generation Apple Pencil, which can magnetically attach to the side of the tablet. The new tablet starts at $499. It will be available for preorder on Tuesday before becoming available on September 24th.
7. New iPad equipped with A13 Bionic chipset

Apple has announced the new ninth-generation iPad with the A13 Bionic chip. It also features a super wide 12 MP front camera and Center Stage support. The new iPad starts at $329 for 64 GB.
8. iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and WatchOS 8 will be available on September 20th
Recently, at the California Streaming event, Apple unveiled the iPhone 13 and also announced the release date for the iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8 updates. Over the past few months, all three operating systems have been in testing and have undergone eight betas so far.
