1. REGULATIONS FOR TESTING FOR CITIZENS WISHING TO LEAVE HCMC

1.1 Individuals wishing to leave HCMC for other provinces must undergo SARS-CoV-2 testing (antigen testing or RT-PCR) at:

- Hospitals and Health Centers in districts, towns, and Thu Duc city for rapid antigen testing.

- Testing facilities authorized by the Ministry of Health to perform SAR-CoV-2 confirmation testing.

Refer to the units in HCMC authorized to perform SAR-CoV-2 confirmation testing using the Realtime RT-PCR method HERE.

1.2 Testing is priced according to the following levels:

- Testing using RT-PCR method at BHYT payment rates as specified in Document 4356/2020 of the Ministry of Health regarding guidelines for payment rates for COVID-19 testing.

- Rapid antigen testing: at service prices specified in Appendices attached to Circular No. 13/2019 and Circular No. 14/2014 of the Ministry of Health, which is 238,000 VND/sample.

2. REGULATIONS FOR RECEIVING PEOPLE RETURNING FROM HCMC:

People returning from HCMC (except for cases from other provinces passing through HCMC without stopping) are considered close contacts with cases identified as requiring medical isolation at home for 07 days from the date of return to the locality, continuing health monitoring for the next 07 days. They must also undergo testing 03 times on the first day, the third day, and the sixth day during the home medical isolation. Details can be found HERE.

According to the latest urgent dispatch from the Ministry of Transport, all passengers traveling to HCMC must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test as required by the Ministry of Health. Details can be found HERE.

For Da Nang city, individuals returning from epidemic areas must undergo centralized isolation for 21 days at their own expense (including the cost of SARS-CoV-2 testing at the designated isolation facility set up by the steering committee). Details can be found HERE and HERE.

During this period, citizens are required to minimize travel to epidemic areas and HCMC. In cases where it is necessary to travel for official purposes, work at agencies, organizations, industrial parks... located in HCMC and other epidemic areas, permission must be obtained and strict compliance with epidemic prevention and control regulations must be ensured.

3. REQUIREMENTS REGARDING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BEFORE FLIGHT:

To maximize epidemic prevention, airlines recommend that passengers flying to and from HCMC present the following documents at the check-in counter before the flight:

- Certificate of Negative Test Result for SAR-CoV-2 valid within 3 days from the date of testing.

- Receipt of payment for the test issued by the testing facility.
