A Bored Ape NFT owner mistakenly listed it for 0.75 ETH ($3,000) instead of 75 ETH ($300,000), and it quickly got snapped up by someone.
A highly sought-after Bored Ape NFT just sold for a little over $3,000. The price was mistakenly set at only 1% of its expected market value of around $300,000.
The owner of Bored Ape #3,547 is believed to have made a typing error when listing the NFT online, according to Cnet. Instead of selling it for 75 ETH, the 'typo' prompted the owner to sell it for 0.75 ETH.

An automated account immediately purchased this NFT and resold it for nearly $250,000.
Similar errors in traditional banking transactions can often be rectified. However, in the cryptocurrency market, where things move fast and are unregulated, such mistakes are usually irreversible, especially when automated buying transactions can occur instantly.

Second most expensive sale in Bored Ape Yacht Club history, fetching a staggering $2.7 million.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a limited collection of 10,000 digital artworks launched in April 2021. It comprises 10,000 unique 'ape' characters on the Ethereum blockchain. Each ape has distinctive features like skin color, accessories, and effects.
Initially, customers could buy an NFT for just over $300. But now, each Bored Ape often sells for at least 50 ETH, equivalent to around $200,000, and owners proudly showcase them on social media or use them as their Twitter profile pictures.
