Locating Airpods after they've fallen provides you with the chance to retrieve them and determine their position for an easier search than ever before.

Unlike other earphones that are lost without a trace, Airpods have a unique feature allowing you to track them down. This is Apple's cutting-edge technology at work. Generally, the more iPhone users there are, the higher the probability of finding lost Airpods. When lost, activating the search feature on your phone causes the Airpods to automatically connect with nearby 'unknown' iPhones, transmitting data to your device. This is Apple's greatest advantage, utilizing devices as signal transmitters.
1. How to Locate Airpods on iPhone and iPad
The Find My App on iPhone and iPad is specifically designed to locate devices within Apple's ecosystem, including Airpods.
Step 1: Open the Find app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Next, select the Airpods associated with your phone and iCloud account. By default, when you connect Airpods to your iPhone, they are automatically added to the iCloud account on your device.
At this point, you'll have 02 options related to Airpods as follows:
- Sound Locator: Your phone will send signals to your Airpods, making them emit loud beeping sounds (Ting Ting Ting) to help you locate them.
- Directions: Utilize maps to guide you to the location of your Airpods.

Step 3: When selecting sound playback, Airpods will continuously emit sounds until you stop. If there's no nearby iPhone to signal, you'll have to wait for a while.

Step 4: For the directions feature, you'll receive guidance to reach the final tracked location of your Airpods.

2. How to Locate Airpods on a Computer
You can also leverage iCloud on your computer to locate your Airpods using your account and nearby iPhone devices.
Step 1: Visit the iCloud website and log in. Then, select Find iPhone to access Apple's tracking feature.

Step 2: In the Find iPhone section, you can search for various devices within Apple's ecosystem. Remember to choose Airpods for tracking.

Step 3: For iCloud on the Web platform, you can only view their location without map support for searching.

Step 4: Additionally, you can choose the Reload (1) option to review the nearest location and select Sound Playback (2) to make the headphones emit sounds.
