Recently, a seemingly far-fetched story of a gamer facing account lockout has caught the community by surprise. Specifically, a gamer from Trùng Khánh (China) with a locked QQ account made the journey from Trùng Khánh to Tencent headquarters in Shenzhen (over 1,400 km) on the second day of Lunar New Year to demand its unlocking.
'I've been using this QQ account since elementary school; it's incredibly important to me!' – Shared the gamer. Despite reaching out to customer service, the account remained blocked. Eventually, driven by anger, the gamer threatened during a chat with Tencent's customer support team that he would come in person to... 'make some noise'.
Finally, the efforts of this gamer were rewarded when he stepped out of Tencent's customer reception center in Shenzhen and posted 'Long time no see' on his account. After over half a year, the gamer's account was unblocked.
Despite the hefty price tag of this 'pilgrimage,' amounting to 1,200 Chinese Yuan (over 4 million Vietnamese Dong), the gamer asserted that the journey was well worth it, even on the first day of the new year. 'I'll be more cautious to ensure my account isn't locked again; I don't want to go through this journey again,' the gamer shared.
The online community has been full of praise for this courageous and determined gamer, albeit with a hint of 'naivety,' but ultimately, everything turned out successful. The gamer also made it clear: 'This is a personal action; please do not follow suit.'
