1. Locking your computer with shortcut keys

Locking your computer with shortcut keys is the quickest and most effective method you should use because you can lock the screen at any time.

To lock the screen, simply press the Windows + L key combination as shown below:

Pressing the Windows + L key combination immediately locks your computer screen, allowing you to comfortably attend to other tasks without worrying about others accessing your computer.

2. Locking your computer with just 1 click

Step 1: Right-click on the Desktop and select New -> Shortcut.

Step 2: In the new window, paste the command below into the empty box and click Next.

Step 3: Name your Shortcut, then click Finish.

Now we have an icon for locking as shown below. Just double-click on this icon and your computer screen will be locked immediately.

First, right-click on the shortcut and select Properties. In the Properties window that appears, choose Change Icon.
