In the previous post, I shared an article on finding a lost iPhone. In this article, we continue the topic of anti-theft on phones, focusing on finding a lost Android phone using Lockwatch.
Step 1: To get started, download and install Lockwatch for Android.
Step 2: Open the app, and you'll see the app's control panel. Switch the toggle from off to on in the 'Send alert email' section.
At this point, the application will automatically send an email alert if an incorrect password is entered on the device's lock screen.
Step 3: Next, go to the Settings -> Security -> Device Administrator section.
Step 4: Choose Lockwatch. And select 'Activate'.
Proceed by checking the option for Lockwatch.
Step 5: Then, enter your email under 'Email should be sent to' to receive alerts when someone unfamiliar tries to open your device.
Additionally, the Premium version of the app offers more features, such as screen capture, video recording, sim card management, and call logs.
To secure your SIM card and phone screen, establish a new code in the 'SIM Card Lock' section and check the SIM Card Lock option.
Upon doing so, a request for 'Enter Current PIN' will appear. Enter the PIN and select OK.
A piece of advice for you is to choose a PIN with high complexity, avoiding birthdates or easily guessable codes like 0000, 1234, 4321...
If your phone is lost, and someone unfamiliar attempts to access the device, the app will send alert information to your email about the device's status and activate the lock screen to protect the data on the device.

Check the box for 'Wait for correct password' to configure the app not to send an email if the correct password is entered within 10 seconds.
Here, Taimienphi.vn has guided you on using Lockwatch to find a lost phone on Android. Wishing you successful implementation.
