The History of Long Khanh Pagoda
Long Khanh Pagoda
The pagoda was built to serve the Chinese community, hence its architecture resembles the shape of the letter '口'. Initially, the pagoda's architecture was divided into two areas: the Upper Temple and the Rear Temple, along with two rows of East rooms and West rooms for monks and devotees to rest.

The temple grounds comprise a spacious area with a 17-meter-tall statue of Amitabha Buddha standing on a lotus-shaped pedestal made of green stone. Behind the statue is a large lotus pond, surrounded by lush greenery. The fragrance of the lotus pond and the surrounding trees fills the air, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere.

The main hall of the pagoda features 'front hall - rear sanctuary' architecture with two tiled houses lying horizontally, connected roofs, and spacious sidewalks on three sides. Two dragon sculptures adorn the roof of the front hall. All three front hall doors are made of precious wood, engraved with the temple's name in gold. In the Rear Sanctuary, there is a bronze statue of the Buddha standing 1.5 meters tall and weighing 1200kg, with dragon sculptures on its roof.
Adjacent to the front hall, the left side houses the bell tower, while the right side houses the drum tower. Inside the main hall, in the center stands a solemn 2-meter-tall bronze statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. Alongside are statues of Amitabha Buddha and Avalokiteshvara.
