The incident involving Faker in ranked games has sparked intense debate within the LPL community.
On the evening of 09/03 (Vietnam time), the League of Legends community was abuzz with Faker's encounter with game disruption while playing ranked matches. Unable to maintain composure in the face of teammates' negative attitudes and actions during gameplay, Faker expressed his frustration on stream: 'Why do LPL players have Korean ranked accounts? Many cases have caused negativity towards others. It has been happening since 2015.'
Additionally, Faker emphasized his determination to halt ranked sessions if he encounters more players disrupting games.
Faker's remarks stirred up a storm of conflicting opinions. Particularly, a segment of the LPL community expressed strong dissatisfaction with Faker's subjective views. Some even compiled evidence of T1 players also disrupting games.

However, T1 and Faker's supporters countered this. They pointed out that the Gumayusi incident had been addressed long ago. Additionally, players like Chovy and ShowMaker have also experienced game disruptions and subsequent frustrations. Faker himself reacted to the players' disruptive behavior. Moreover, Faker had no intention of condemning all players transitioning from LPL to Korean ranked games.

On the same day, T1 revealed they had received Faker's concerns and forwarded them to Riot Korea and the LCK authorities. Considering the involvement of an LPL player, it's likely that Riot China will also intervene. Currently, the League of Legends community is closely monitoring the situation and awaiting resolutions from all parties involved. This incident implicates the top two League of Legends regions and the iconic figure of the community - Faker.
Additionally, Top Esports announced they are implementing internal measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Qingtian expressed deep regret for the disruption caused and assured fans of his commitment to fair play and sportsmanship in all matches.
