Previously, Lumia Denim was expected to be updated in Q4 of 2014 without a specific timeline. Recent leaks suggest Lumia Denim will be rolled out in approximately two weeks, promising significant enhancements, especially in the camera and virtual assistant Cortana.
More precisely, by the last week of October to the first week of November, Lumia Denim is expected to start its rollout. The comprehensive update for all devices may extend into early 2015.
Alongside the Lumia Denim update, Microsoft introduces two new products, the Lumia 730 and Lumia 830, featuring the latest Lumia Denim update with noteworthy improvements.
Regarding the operating system for older devices, Microsoft has not disclosed any details.
The first devices slated for the upgrade could be the Lumia 930/Icon and Lumia 1520. However, the timing of the update also depends on the geographical region.
Anticipated features in this update include hands-free activation for the virtual assistant Cortana, increased photo capture speed, enabling 4K video recording at 24 fps, and the Glance screen displaying information from Bing Weather, Bing Health & Fitness, and various other apps.
Let's eagerly await the official release date from Microsoft to experience it on our own Windows Phone devices.
