First and foremost, in my opinion, we should opt for countries in Asia or closer, the Southeast Asian region, for Lunar New Year travel. Why Asia? It's simple, Asian countries have developed from the Rice Civilization, so they celebrate Tet according to the Lunar Calendar, or the Lunar Calendar. Therefore, during this time, many traditional festivals and activities will take place to welcome the biggest holiday of the year. Hence, you will have more exciting experiences compared to traveling to countries in Europe or other continents during this time.

However, if you want to experience the differences in Tet culture, you can visit areas with a concentration of ethnic minorities, as China has many communities and ethnic groups living together, so there will also be different ways of celebrating Tet and festivals in each region, from very special ethnic groups.

If you're lucky, you may see traditional Tet customs of the indigenous people. If you don't have that chance, don't be disappointed, the scenery and New Year atmosphere in your country will be enough to delight you.
