Lilypad Palm Beach Villa, a $1,300 per night floating villa
Lilypad Palm Beach Villa is a floating villa in Palm Beach, New South Wales. This unique resort is located amidst Pittwater Bay, approximately 45 km from Sydney. Chuck Anderson is the owner and also the mastermind behind this two-story villa. The house is constructed using sustainable materials to ensure eco-friendliness.

Chuck narrates: “Being a maritime engineer by profession, I spent most of my life floating on the sea. I felt that life on traditional boats was not widely known, so I immediately thought of designing a space where everyone could experience the beauty of living on water.”
The villa features a fully furnished living room, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a wine cellar. Upstairs is a large double bed bedroom, a spa bathroom. Outside the house is an open terrace, where guests can lounge, dine, or relax, enjoying the sunset with a glass of fine wine.
Apart from leisure activities at the villa, the host also offers a variety of outdoor activities for sports enthusiasts such as kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or hiking. Even guests here can organize outdoor activities on a nearby beach or hire someone for a villa massage.

Despite its capacity and capability to accommodate events for 16 people, Lilypad Palm Beach Villa only accommodates 2 guests. According to Chuck, this villa is designed for couples to comfortably stay overnight, which is the most popular service. However, sometimes this place still hosts events like small weddings or intimate gatherings for families and friends.
This floating villa is open all year round, and summer is the best time to visit. In winter, temperatures here range from 10 – 17 degrees Celsius. However, the villa has a fireplace. Guests can use Wi-Fi, Netflix, and call for private service. The Palm Beach area also has many beautiful hiking trails, restaurants, cafes, and even whale watching spots for tourists to explore in winter.
The villa rental price is $3,600 per month for loyal customers. Currently, Lilypad Palm Beach Villa has a daily rental price of $1,300 per night for each couple, including accommodation, private service, wine, breakfast, dinner, and more...
