Vinh Hy Bay, Dalat, Phu Quoc, Vung Tau, Cat Ba, Ninh Binh, or Mai Chau are suitable destinations for families with young children.
Family Travel: Ly Hai - Minh Ha Recommends Domestic Summer Vacation Tours
In June, families are busy planning vacations as kids enjoy their summer break. Choosing the right destination involves considering factors like convenient transportation, proximity, and child-friendly accommodations. Ly Hai - Minh Ha Family has long been admired for their happy family trips. Minh Ha once shared that she encourages her children to travel with their parents from an early age, fostering independence and exposing them to new experiences while strengthening family bonds. Since the birth of their eldest son, Rio, Ly Hai - Minh Ha have taken their children on trips to various international destinations such as Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. They also have a fondness for domestic getaways.
Vinh Hy, Ninh Thuan
June is a time when families are busy planning vacations as children enjoy their summer break. The chosen destinations usually need to have convenient transportation, be easily accessible, and offer child-friendly facilities. Ly Hai - Minh Ha Family has always been admired for their happy family trips. Minh Ha once shared with us that she encourages her children to travel with their parents from an early age, fostering independence and exposing them to new experiences while strengthening family bonds. Since the birth of their eldest son, Rio, Ly Hai - Minh Ha have always taken their children on trips to both domestic and international destinations such as Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.
At the beginning of April, my family and I opted for a retreat at Amanoi Resort, nestled in Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuan. This is considered the most luxurious resort in Vietnam, with rooms costing up to 100 million VND. Featuring spacious, elegantly designed accommodations overlooking one of Vietnam's most beautiful bays, Amanoi also offers more affordable rooms, priced at around 700 USD per night, catering to well-off families.

The Ly Hai - Minh Ha family often takes trips to Phu Quoc Island, most recently during the Christmas holiday and last summer. Phu Quoc is particularly suitable for families from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, thanks to its direct flight connections, ensuring a hassle-free journey for both parents and children.
The array of resorts and guesthouses in Phu Quoc caters to various budget ranges, from upscale to budget-friendly. Entertainment areas, eateries, and amenities are always readily available, making it easy for parents to fulfill any spontaneous requests from their children.
Phu Quoc also boasts Vinpearl Safari, home to many rare and exotic animal species. Not only does it provide children with opportunities to explore the wild animal kingdom, but it also facilitates scientific research, outdoor activities, strolls, and relaxation in the forest. The wildlife park features a diverse range of wild animals from around the world, as well as native species found in Vietnam.

Da Lat
During the mid-term of her pregnancy, Minh Ha enjoyed a prenatal vacation with her husband and three little angels in Da Lat. Known for its tranquility and fresh air, Da Lat is especially suitable for expectant mothers and young children. The abundance of hotels and guesthouses near the city center, nestled amidst nature, makes it a favorite among families. Here, one can spend the entire day in their spacious retreat surrounded by lush greenery, indulging in lazy naps, cooking, reading, and basking in the coolness of the highland air.
Surrounding the city are numerous recreational areas, tourist attractions, beautiful landscapes, and convenient transportation. Particularly, the cuisine in the misty city is highly acclaimed.

Ho Tram (Vung Tau)
On this year's International Children's Day, Rio, Cherry, and Sunny were taken by their parents to The Grand Ho Tram Strip Resort (Vung Tau). This upscale resort offers private spaces, situated close to the beach, providing a refreshing, breezy atmosphere ideal for activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and strolling.
Moreover, the resort features a dedicated children's play area, allowing parents to relax in the pool without worrying too much about their kids playing nearby.

Vung Tau
In March 2015, the Lật Mặt 2 actor's family visited Vung Tau with all three little angels, including the then-infant Sunny. Due to its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City, the trip posed little difficulty for the family with a young child.
From Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau, various transportation options such as hydrofoils, coaches, cars, and personal motorcycles can be utilized, with a travel time of approximately 2 hours. Depending on whether there are young children in the family, the appropriate mode of transportation can be chosen.
Tourist services in Vung Tau are well-developed, making them convenient for all types of travelers. Here, you can enjoy beach activities and engage your children in seaside fun. The hotel system is also diverse and fully equipped. The Ly Hai family stayed at the Imperial Hotel, a beautiful hotel located right by the beach, featuring an outdoor swimming pool, gym, and other amenities.

Cat Ba Island
Also in the summer of 2015, the Ly Hai family took their children to vacation on Cat Ba Island in the north. This is a suitable suggestion for families in the northern region. Cat Ba Island is a large island in Hai Phong, about 130 km from Hanoi. You can combine a visit to Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island (by ferry from Halong to Cat Ba) or explore Cat Ba and Haiphong City.
Some popular activities on Cat Ba Island include swimming at Cat Co Beach, cruising around Lan Ha Bay to admire numerous islands, visiting Monkey Island, trekking in Cat Ba National Park, exploring Viet Hai Village, kayaking around the islands in the bay, and hiking to the summit of Cannon Fort for breathtaking views of the sea.
In Cat Ba, the singer's family also visited Cannon Fort, where old cannons and defensive trenches are preserved. From here, you can overlook the entire Cat Ba Island. At the 177th summit, there's a cafe called Cannon Fort Cafe, equipped with telescopes to observe distant islands and beaches.

Trang An
During their trip to the north, the Ly Hai Minh Ha family took their children to explore the ecological complex of Trang An, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Bai Dinh Pagoda, and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh). These destinations are not too far from the capital and can be visited in a day. If you have young children, you can stay overnight; there are several standard resorts in Ninh Binh that are beautiful and suitable for families.
As for sightseeing, you can take the children to Trang An and experience a boat ride through the caves. Trang An is currently the only scenic spot in Vietnam with numerous water caves, some of which are up to 2 km long. These cave systems are interconnected, forming a circular route. While boating, tourists are required to bow down to avoid hitting their heads.

Mai Chau
Mai Chau Valley is also a good suggestion for families in the north. Located 140 km from Hanoi and 60 km from Hoa Binh in the northwest direction, Mai Chau attracts tourists with its romantic beauty, fresh and cool air, diverse culture, rich cuisine, and pleasant climate. The weather here is mild and comfortable, not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. Therefore, you can visit Mai Chau at any time of the year.
The Ly Hai family chose to stay in a homestay in a stilt house with the Thai ethnic people to enjoy the peaceful life and beautiful scenery. The singer's two older children were very excited to try local dishes, especially bamboo-cooked rice. There aren't many recreational activities here, so you and your family can enjoy relaxing and leisurely days without any distractions.
