According to reports from 9to5Mac, the new 13-inch model (code-named J513) will come equipped with the M3 chip. It will be announced alongside an entirely new 15-inch version (code-named J515), which will also feature the M3 chip.
Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had revealed information suggesting that Apple might release a 15-inch Air equipped with M2 and M2 Pro chips in early April. However, sources from 9to5mac indicate that the 15-inch model will feature the same M3 chip as the next-generation 13-inch MacBook Air. This chip will boast an 8-core CPU similar to the M1 and M2.
There is currently no evidence to suggest that the MacBook Air lineup will include a variant with the M3 Pro chip. However, these are not the only new MacBooks that Apple is developing.
