The stilt houses in Lac village are elevated, standing about 2 meters above the ground, supported by sturdy wooden columns. The roofs are thatched with palm or bamboo leaves. The large windows allow cool breezes to flow in and provide a breezy space to hang decorative flower baskets.

In the present day, stilt houses used for businesses like these have undergone significant improvements in construction materials and are equipped with a variety of amenities while still retaining their inherent rustic charm.
